Very Effective Birth Control!
Hahaha a couple of soccer girls wanted to see the head soccer coach of our team. She was induced this morning. We thought she had the baby when we got there but no! So they got to see her in pain and I had them each bring a pack of diapers as well so they now know how much those cost! Real life........... the best birth control!

These Days

I used to complain that I was lonely and board! Well life these past couple of months has been pretty busy! I have been subbing in the Wichita Public School District almost everyday. I didn't plan on working that much, but I have a good friend who watches Josie and so I feel good leaving her. Josie likes to go to her house, she gets excited when we get out of the car and head to the door. Subbing in this school district can really make you dobut public school! I am so disrespected by these kids, it is schocking! I have been called many names and flat out ignored. I feel sorry for these kids I really do. Honestly it's hard for me not to check out and ignore them right back. Then after school I am assistant coaching varsity soccer at a local private school, where I have been offered a full time teaching job for next year! All I have to do is sign my contract and move into my classroom! (more on that later) Soccer is going great, this is there seccond year as a team and they are learning so much and imporving everyday. Last year they diddn't win a game, this year we have won 5! I love this job but I'm getting tired and ready for summer to take Joise swimming and go to the park and hang out with friends! Jeff is getting to have a couple of hours of daddy joise time every evening and says he has a new respect for me being a stay at home mom, and more headachs :) I am excited that my 16 year old bro is going to spen the summer with us.
Josie is cuter than everAt 13 months. She loves to be outside, petting doggies, and dancing to the Elmo's World theme song. We go to the doctor for check up at the end of the month.
I know won't schock anyone but we are moving in June from our tiney apt to a house! A three bedroom 2 bath with a garage YEA!!!! I can't wait to have more space and a little yard for a little sandbox! We are just renting for a year and hope to build something after that! We will see, who knows.

Easter
This year Easter was also Jeffs Birthday and we spent the day in Newton with his family. We went to church with them after some stong hinting from his mom that she would be in the nursery that Sunday :) We have not taken a family pic in a while and I am really happy with this one. Jeff looks old huh? He turned 28!!!!!
Jeff's mom plays the organ and Josie loves to sit in her lap and push the buttons!

Josie's Birthday Bow Party
It was just awesome!!! I don't have any pictures to post #1 becasue I forgot to take any (being a hostess is hard work) and #2 my computer won't let me load any pictures anyway (don't know why, my bro-law will be on that this weekend!!!) It was soooo much fun, such a wide array of people came to say happy birthday and help me donate bows. I have $60 to spend and because her bows are so affordable that is alot!!!!! I will donate them to our local American Cancer Society and they will get them to the little girl who needs them. If you are confused about how a little girl with no hair can wear a bow then check out www.beadsnblooms.com and that will clear it up for you. While you are there buy stuff, Jessica who owns the company is awesome and her products are quality, and cute!
Almost everyone who was invited came and it was a little crazy in my teeny apartment, but it was so much fun to see everyone. Josie got some great gifts and CUTE clothes. WOW I can't believe how well it turned out.
I am just so blessed to be able to celebrate my baby girls first birthday, she is just awesome. Yeah that's a good word, AWESOME!

It is Finished
Well it's official, we are done breastfeeding. It's been 39 hours and I am still really sad! I did it gradually so I am not uncomfortable (I am wondering if I will be) Josie is just fine with it. She was losing interest anyway and with me gone until hours after her bed time last night Jeff and I decided it was time. I am excited to move on with life but this is a big step. It was such a HUGE part of my life for a whole year. I am now at a total loss of how to put her to bed. She like to read books, just not in my lap. So I don't know really how I am going to wind her down for bed. She would always go go go go then nurse and be ready to get in the crib. So I need some ideas..........
