3 1/2

Josie is super fun and funny at 3 1/2. This is her best friend ever, so far, and they both say they are going to get married! To bad he lives in Wichita, but I guess you never know =)

Josie is not going to preschool this year, gasp!!! I know, what an awful mom I am and I'm sure she will be sooo far behind when kindergarten rolls around. Oh well, my kindergarten/special education teacher mom says she will catch up and be fine so I'm just gonna enjoy my time with her at home. (she just this very moment told me I am her best mommy) She is however going to gymnastics and cheer once a week each. She loves it!

She is also working on some memory verses and my mom told me she would bring home some worksheets from school. For a 3 1/2 year old she has a giant vocabulary, so we are working on some new words and synonyms. Today I taught her disappointed for sad, frustrated for angry and exhilarated for happy. She is walking around using them like a pro.

She loves to play! She is so creative, making up stories and playing with dolls like they are real people. It is captivating to watch. She loves to help me cook, do dishes, clean. She just gabs a stool and joins right in.

She can skip, throw a ball and catch it, kick a ball, loves to run, do a back bend and almost kick both legs up to a full handstand. She keeps asking her gymnastics teacher when she is going to learn how to do a real back flip!!!! She loves to do sit ups and push ups with Jeff and I, so I think we may have an athlete on our hands. She also loves to sing and sing LOUD!!! Ummmm don't think we have a pro singer, oh well it makes me smile! My favorite thing however is when she says mom, mom, MOM, MOOOMM and I finally say (a little annoyed) WHAT JOSIE!! And she answers, I love you! I love you too Josie, more than you will ever know!
