A fellow teacher told me that snow days are like a pause in the Universe. That is very true. We have had 4, just this year. We (ok I ) am so busy, I am almost never home. Josie is learning the busy life at a young age. So to just be home for two days in a row is like heaven for her. I was hoping on Monday that we would have Tuesday off, so I took Josie to the store to get necessary stay at home supplies. We made cinnamon rolls, soup, and sugar cookies. She finally got some serious play time with her new Christmas toys. We literally did not change all day Tuesday. It was awesome. I woke her up this morning and she pulled the covers back on and said I'm still sleeping. I told her, you get to go play with friends today. She jumped out of bed and raced for the bathroom to get ready. I guess two days in a row in at home in a row was enough for her.
The girls worked really hard and had a very successful season. I will desperately miss them and coaching cheer!
